Effect of Fuel Utilization on Tri-reforming-SOFC Systems with Different Heat Management Strategies

Abstract Four tri-reforming-SOFC system configurations are built with different off-gas recirculation methods (anode and burner recirculation) reformers (with heat exchange oxygen injections) to improve management. The systems modeled explore the effects of fuel utilization. It is found that type mainly affects maximum temperature in reformer while reforming methane conversion. max gradient stack increases utilization C D, therefore high should be avoided these two configurations. electric efficiencies enhanced compared efficiency. AOGR preferred enhance system’s efficiency, configuration A exhibits highest
